We are Soil Association organic certified manufacturer and supplier and are able to provide our customers with a schedule from the Soil Association to confirm that our products are approved and certified. We never claim to be 100% organic and we show our % organic on our labels. Ask you supplier if you have any doubts.

We are very excited to be launching a new range of aroma diffusers at the Spring Fair, NEC Birmingham 5th-9th February. Aroma diffusers are extremely popular at this time as people are becoming more health conscious in the home and work place as opposed to using synthetic fragrance which merely masks odours.

Aroma diffusers are simple to use, easy to clean and lovely to look at. Just add water and a few drops of your chosen essential oils or synergy blend press the button and away it goes, gently emitting a steam vapour into the area.

Essential oils have the capabilities of reacting the mind, body and spirit but also their physical natural chemical components mean that they can work on other levels. It is common place now to see essential oils being listed in home cleaning products but do bear in mind that these are very unlikely to be of the quality used for health and well being.

Here are some tips for using aroma diffusers. Clean out regularly and replace with fresh clean water. Add 2-4 drops of organic essential oils.

Always use the best organic essential oils if possible to ensure maximum therapeutic effects. Organic certification is equally important as it ensures that essential oils have been grown and harvested without using harmful pesticides and chemicals which may alter their own natural chemical components. Adulteration of essential oils is rife so always ask your supplier for organic certification documentation.

Add a drop of lemon, fennel and Juniper Berry to refresh the area and eliminate food odours.

Add a drop of Cedarwood, Lavender and Lime to create a calming and uplifting atmosphere

As therapists we care so much for others and how to treat their needs that we sometimes forget our own needs.

At The Aromatherapy Company we believe this is a vital part of training as therapists offer positivity, relaxation, physical pain ease, balance and hope to clients. Sometimes treating can be draining for therapists as without realising it they pass on their care and energy which sometimes depletes their own. So here are some tips for you.

How to care for ourselves before, during and after practice.

Our aim as Aromatherapists is to ease symptoms of discomfort and pain of the mind, body and spirit for wellness and wellbeing of our clients and loved ones but do we actually look after ourselves?

As part of our training course we have been looking at this carefully as we need to provide therapists with the best possible tools for longevity of practice.

One of the biggest challenges is finding a few moments to re-charge and re-balance our own self and it could possibly be said that some of us don’t even think nor have time to think about our own needs.

The simple exercise, stretch and breathing routine that we have created is both physically and spiritually beneficial, it is also achievable and also touches on looking after our more subtle energies through relaxation techniques, making blends for ourselves to help ground, lift, cleanse or whatever we need from our essential oils for our own needs.

We hope that you fine the following exert from our course of use and that it helps you in some way, even if just to take a moment to think about you whilst reading the information. We are so glad to be able to share this with you.

Introduction

We need to be sure that we look after ourselves. Only then can we provide a treatment that is effective not only for the client but also for ourselves. We need to think about our posture before, during and after massage. We need to build our inner core strength to prevent repetitive injuries and strain.

Core strength and breathing techniques for the health and wellbeing of the therapist.

Focussed breathing techniques incorporating essential oils for relaxation, postural alignment, injury prevention and restoring balance.

Whether you are treating several or many clients it is important to think about your own posture during the treatment.

During treatment your upper body will be leaning forward of the legs and therefore not in its usual upright alignment. This can cause strain on the back, knees and cause a slight roundedness to the shoulders.

There are many muscles working actively during massage including the heart which does mean that you are actually gently exercising your own body.

During massage we are also breathing more slowly as we control the speed of the movements we make and create a space for peace for the client in which to relax. This enables us to relax as well as calm the mind.

Taking all of the above into account we know that massage has a physical & psychological effect on the mind, body and spirit.

Many clients come to us for a physical or psychological reason. Some come for a nice treatment but as Clinical Aromatherapists we do look at the whole person as individuals, blend our oils and offer a treatment that is designed to promote repair and renewal.

How many clients do you treat that suffer from stress, a bad back, sore neck and shoulders, headache, insomnia? Do you the therapist suffer from any of those conditions?

Neutral alignment

When we talk about neutral alignment we mean that the spine should be in its natural position. To find neutral alignment stand with your feet hip width distance apart, soften the knees, draw the shoulders gently back and down. Now tilt the pelvis forward and notice that the back flattens. Then tilt the pelvis back and be aware of the increase in the arch of the lower back. Gently tilt your pelvis downwards to find somewhere between the last two movements. There should be a slight curve of the spine.

Breathing and Posture

We will use two techniques of breathing. The first is based on Pilates and the second on Yoga. The first is used to protect the back and tone the abdominals during massage and the latter is to allow relaxation of the body for restoring balance post massage.

Taking care of your posture and protecting your back during massage.

· Make sure the client is in a comfortable position for treatment

· Slightly soften your knees, draw the shoulders gently down the back

· Ask the client to take a slow, deep inhale through the nose and on the exhale breathe out through the mouth.

· Before starting your first movement, breath in to prepare and exhale into your abdominals as you gently effleurage away from the clients heart. On the inhale apply a deeper effleurage towards the heart.

· Try to focus your breathing so that you exhale on the action of the movement and inhale to prepare for the next.

· Try to remember to draw the tummy button in on the exhale and relax on the inhale.

· Try to check that your shoulders are relaxed and the knees soft.

To start with this may feel strange as it appears to feel more normal to let the tummy relax on the exhale. But, there are some good reasons for including this breathing technique into your treatments and here are some of them.

· Protection of the lower back

· Strengthening of the transverse abdominus which is the deep girdle of tummy muscle which wraps around the front of the belly and attaches to the spine.

· Releasing tension

· Encouraging relaxation

· Working on flattening the tummy!!!

Caring for yourself after treatment physically and spiritually

At the end of your day and where possible between treatments we would like to encourage you to restore your body’s posture and balance.

Bearing in mind that you have been leaning forward with the arms in front of you, it would be really beneficial to do the following restorative yoga pose and cleanse your aura.

Choose an essential oil that you love and add a drop to a tissue. After all, we are always selecting essential oils for others so this is your time to enjoy some of your favourites.

You could also use an aura spray or oil.

Essential oils for the solar plexus include Juniper Berry and Vetiver. Vetiver is particularly good to use to ease uncomfortable feelings. Essential oils for opening the heart chakra include Neroli, Melissa, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang.

· Deeply inhale the essential oil on the tissue and then place close to your heart

· Place the aura oil on your solar plexus area and massage gently in. If using an aura spray or hydrolat, spray around the outside of the body.

Where possible do the standing poses as often as you can after treatments and then when you can allow yourself a few moments longer, add the floor poses for a deeper restorative session.

Standing Poses

Always exhale on the action and draw your tummy button inwards.

· Stand with your feet hip width distance apart. Soften the knees and relax the shoulders back and down.

· Circle the shoulders backwards to warm the synovial fluid around the joint

· Gently tilt the head from side to side. Allow the head to roll forwards and be aware of the tension in the back of the neck.

· Keeping your gaze on the floor, rotate the head from one side to the other.

· Keeping the knees soft, clasp the hands behind the back, draw your shoulders down and extend the arms to open the front of the chest.

· Place your hands on your hips, keep the knees soft, breath in to prepare and on the exhale draw the tummy in and take the upper body slightly backwards creating a small arch in the lower back and open the chest. (only go back as far as is comfortable)

· Lengthen the neck a little and tilt the head slightly backward making sure there is no compression of the cervical vertebrae.

· Come back to neutral alignment.

· Bend the knees, take a big deep breathe in and on the exhale circle the arms up towards the ceiling. Inhale at the top and then exhale to release the arms back down. Do this last move 3 or 4 times.

Floor exercise

· Using a rolled up towel, cushion or preferable a bolster, lay down on your back with the bolster placed behind the back ribs. This will create an opening of the chest.

· Keep the knees bent about hip width distance apart so that you feel stable and grounded.

· Gently take the knees from one side to the other, a bit like windscreen wipers. This will release the lower back.

· Laying still focus on nice deep breathes in and out through the nose allow the body to slow and relax.

· Be aware of the rise and fall of the chest as you continue to breathe in and out.

· Enjoy the lovely aroma from the essential oils on the tissue.

· Stay like this for as long as you can even if it is just a few minutes.

· Allow thoughts to come and pass, try to bring the mind back to the rhythm of your breathing.

· Remove the bolster and allow your back to connect with the ground.

· Focus on your breathing once again but now breathe more easily and not as deep.

· Stretch your legs out in front and arms above your head. Push the finger tips away from the toes and breath into your tummy.

· Gently bend the knees and roll onto your side.

· Take a few breathes and then bring yourself up to sitting.

· Carefully bring yourself up to standing, making sure the head is always above the heart.

· Find neutral alignment. Bend the knees; circle the arms up as in the last move of the standing poses.

It is with these things in mind that we will be able to carry out treatments for our clients to the best effect for all concerned

Having an interest in herbs as a child and learning of their therapeutic properties, Sharon decided to use this knowledge when training as an Aromatherapist many years ago .The initial factor which influenced her decision to take up aromatherapy was a stroke suffered by her father, and she believed that she could help to relieve his symptoms. Sharon practised in the UK for 10 years before moving to Spainand starting a practice there around 8 years ago.

Solholistic now provides IFPA training for students in Spain. We are based in Sella Alicante. Sella is 16km from Villajoyosa and around 25km from Benidorm.

If you choose to fly to Alicante I can arrange for you to be collected from the airport. Sella is around 50 minutes drive from Alicante.

Courses on offer include Clinical Aromatherapy modules 1 – 4, Anatomy and Physiology & Reflexology.

Continued professional development (CPD) courses include Indian Head Massage, Hot & Cold Stone Therapy, Nutrition and Aromatic Ear Candling.

I am appointed by The Aromatherapy Company UK to provide accredited IFPA courses on their behalf in Spain. Being an accredited school, the training will provide you with a sound start to your exciting future career.

As an example the course on Clinical Aromatherapy begins with Module 1 and takes 5 full days. The days can be Monday to Friday or covered over two and a half weekends.

IFPA Certified Course

The certified diploma course will provide you with professional aromatherapy theory knowledge and practical application using various techniques. After completion of Module 4 and passing of your exams you will gain a diploma as a Professional Aromatherapy Practitioner. This diploma will enable you to work as a qualified Aromatherapist in a natural therapy clinic, beauty clinic or enables you to set up your own business and obtain all the necessary insurance and IFPA recognition.

The Aromatherapy Company Spa and Salon treatments have been created by us for a natural, organic and holistic approach towards clients looking for health and well being. As an accredited IFPA Aromatherapy training school it is really important to us that people are able to receive aromatherapy treatments wherever they are in the world. Our knowledge lead us to create and make the products here in the UK and write and design the treatments for therapists to be able to offer. We hope that you will join us on our mission to treat symptoms associated with physical and psycological stresses and strain, skin conditions, pregnancy and beyond using the earths natural gifts essential oils.

Holistic Facial
Learn new and effective facial massage techniques. The therapist will learn to confidently use our organic cleansers, hydrolats, exfoliators, facial masks and moisturisers exploring Chinese facial assessment techniques and facial acupressure points. All ingredients used will be organic. An extremely relaxing and holistic treatment. Includes head massage. Products are available in Skincare Kits, Gift sets and retail sizes. Collections include Hydrating Rose, Neroli Orange Blossom, Regenerating Frankincense & Palmarosa, Probelmatic Grapefruit & Juniper Berry and Soothing Chamomile and Yarrow.

Cellulite and Detox
This treatment encompasses a specific massage involving a scrub preparation, body brushing, specific massage techniques, clay wraps and applying organic lotions to the legs, thighs and buttocks. We also apply a liver cleanse lotion to the body to encourage elimination fo toxins during and after the treatment. An effective and natural treatment for clients looking to improve the appearance of cellulite and encourage detoxification of the body for balance and wellness. Products for retail include a Detox Kit, Body Scrub, Massage Oil, Liver Cleanse lotion and Tummy Soother Lotion.

Mummy to Be Massage
Using our pre-blended massage oils to soothe, nourish and relax Mummy and Baby during pregnancy. This treatment is wonderful for expectant Mum's from the end of the 2 Trimester as they begin to experience symptoms of discomfort associated with pregnancy. The massage routine includes a beautiful bump and back massage. A full body treatment is available. Products for retail in this treatment include a kit and retail size pre-natal bath soak, Beautiful bump massage oil, Post natal bath salts, cooling leg and foot lotion. Also available for retail is a nipple soothe balm and our lovely Refresh and Uplift Organic Aromatherapy Candle with Lemon and Lavender essential oils which is safe for use during labour. We also have a full range of Beautiful baby products for retail.

Back and Neck Massge for Muscular and Skeletal tension
This treatment aims to ease the muscles and joint pain using our organic Warming Muscle Massage Balm and Cooling Muscle Gel. Massaging with a balm is wonderful and this product contains warming, anti-inflammatory and pain easing essential oils to treat muscular tension and strains. Ideal for exercise enthusiasts too as the balm can be used as pre-event and the gel post event treatment to prepare the body for exercise and elimination of toxins afterwards. This is a great alternative treatmnent to sports massage as the products have been designed to treat symptoms by utiliising essential oils. This treatment works brilliantly in a Hot Stone Massage treatment. Products for retail include a Sports Kit and retail sizes of the Warming Balm and Cooling Gel

Day 1 at Camexpo for The Aromatherapy Company

Wow, this is an amazing exhibition where exhibitors and customers who are interested in complementary health unite. We had a brilliant day meeting new clients and thank you to our friends, students and customers who cam especially to meet us at the show. A special thank you to Yianna who came all the way from Cypress! So lovely to see her beaming, smiling face. Think she tried everything! Other friends who came to see us was Kathy Smith who is just about to embark on level 2 of our Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma.

People were showing real interest in our training and products, we have around 60 essential oils for them to try as well as carrier oils, hydrolats and bases. All organic certified of course!

It's so re-assuring really to get out and meet people who want to stock our products or interested in our bespoke own label branding service for those who want to launch their own ranges to the market.

We are also delighted to have Emily Song and Phil Jia who are our exclusive agents for mainland China, Hong Kong & Taiwan on our stand helping out and they just slotted right on in there serving and chatting to customers. They are so interested in Aromatherapy and their enthusiasm shines through as they sample and sell our gorgeously aromatic products. Phil in particular is showing he has an expensive taste as he loves our luxury range Neroli, Frankincense, Vanilla and Rose....but then who wouldn't!

Whilst here we are trying to raise the profile of the importance of the IFPA organisation as a are an accredited school and they are our governing body committed to excellence in education of aromatherapy. This is really important to us as there are so many courses out there today that it can be confusing to students and qualified Aromatherapists alike. The IFPA also have a stand at Camexpo.

We haven't had much time to talk with our lovely friends Yoko & Rimi of the Tamara Association. These people are absolutely gorgeous and we recommend that you visit their stand to find out more about their healing. We can help you in the UK with any information on the Tamara Association as we are trained Teachers of their practice.

Well, time for a quick breakfast before heading back to Camexpo for day 2. We hope we get to meet some more lovely people and spread the word of our passion for all things Aromatherapy.

For those of you who are already qualified but would like to take the IFPA upgrade, we have attached the form for you. We are an IFPA accredited school and our course will train you to become a Professional Clinical Aromatherapist with an internationally recognised qualification. The IFPA courses are also recognised by the NHS.

We believe in teaching in a caring and relaxed atmosphere so that you become confident in your practice. Brilliant exam results for our students

Well done to our IFPA tutors Karen Sherwood and Louise Carta (School Principal) on the brilliant exam results today of all 5 students who have been studying hard with them both over the past 10 months. The level of their results is a tribute to their combined teaching.

A super well done to the now qualified Clinical Aromatherapist Practitioners Caren Benstead, Amanda Cartwright, Dawn Jones, Amanda Cottam and Monique Garforth. These ladies excelled in both theory and practical examinations today. Thank you to our external examiner Sue Charles for her positive input and marking of the practical examination.

We are committed to providing Clinical Aromatherapy training to the highest levels and within a caring and encouraging environment. We try really hard to look after our students and hope that they leave us as confident, considerate and passionate Aromatherapists. This is certainly the case for these 5 lovely ladies who have been an incredible group who have become best of friends for life. They have worked together and encouraged each other without one ounce of competition between them and this is a credit to them. It shows us that they are perfect for the vocation that they have chosen to follow and you could not hope to meet more caring people.

Meet The Aromatherapy Company and the Tamara Assocation at Camexpo, London this weekend!

We are so looking forward to meeting you all at Camexpo.

Come and meet Louise Carta who is our IFPA Principal Tutor and Co Director of The Aromatherapy Company International Training Centre Ltd. Louise has been teaching Professional Aromatherapy for many years and is highly regarded as a teacher and practicing Clinical Aromatherapist. Students trained by her say that she is absolutely lovely and so patient. She is always encouraging and supportive and her gentle manner really enables students to be confident. Louise has written many articles in national magazines and has trained Aromatherapists all over the world.

Joanne Woodward will also be there and she is Co Director alongside Louise Carta. She makes sure that all the courses run smoothly and is well known for her lovely homemade aromatic soups! Sometimes we think the students come just for her lunches which are included in our course prices! On a more serious note, Joanne is also a qualified practicing Clinical Aromatherapists Practitioner who has a background in fitness and finance. She teaches our 'Care of the Therapist' element of the course showing students how to look after their minds, body's and spirits for longevity of practice.

Luc Carta will be in tow as well as our man at hand who drives the aroma van! But more importantly Luc is our creative designer who looks after all our promo material, website and label design. He is a man amongst a throng of women but he loves Aromatherapy and holistic health. If you are looking for own label branding on our products Luc will be able to discuss design possibilities with you.

In London you will have the chance to meet Louise and Jo but also Emily Song and Phil Jia who head our China Team. Emily and Phil also continue to train in Clinical Aromatherapy with us but also export our training and products to mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. They will be able to help with any export enquiries for those wishing to stock The Aromatherapy Company Brand so do come along and talk to them.

The IFPA will also be in London on a stand opposite ours so you will have the opportunity to meet the IFPA Chair Ann Leach about membership and more information of our governing body and registered charity who are committed to 'Excellence in Education of Aromatherapy'

We will talk about our organic certified products in a separate document but before we do that we need to tell you what made us create them in the first place and that place is education and spreading the knowledge all over the world to promote the use of Aromatherapy in every day life.

With all this blogging going on it is so easy to forget the people who make our company so special! And for those of you who are new to joining or hoping to meet us at Professional Beauty Manchester (16th/17th October) or Camexpo London the following week we thought this would be a great time
to tell you a bit about us.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing team here at The Aromatherapy Company! We will try and post some photos soon.

The Aromatherapy Company is run and owned by Louise Carta & Joanne Woodward who are both IFPA Clinical Aromatherapist Practitioners. Louise is also our IFPA Principal tutor and has a wealth of knowledge and experience of Aromatherapy. Louise teaches and mentors our students in house and by distance learning and takes them from Introductory level 1 right through to qualifying level 4 and exams. She also teaches Holistic therapies such as Hot Stones, Cellulite & Detox, Aromatic Ear Candling, Holistic Facial and many more!

Joanne Woodward teaches our 'Care of the Therapist' element of the training which we believe is invaluable to the longevity of practicing therapists to build their core strength and protect the back and body posture. She has been a fitness instructor for 17 years and brings this knowledge into a short programme for stretching, exercises and postural alignment. She also teaches some business and basic book-keeping and helps students to find a career post exams.

Luc Carta is our in house creative designer who has an amazing eye for detail. He has designed and created our website www.thearomatherapycompany.co.uk and he also helps our branded customers who require a unique brand.

Every good company needs an Amanda Cartwright! Phew, we couldn't manage without her fantastic organisational skills. When she comes to work, we know it will be a productive day and that the orders will all run smoothly. Amanda is so lovely to have around as well, always smiling and encouraging. She is training as a Clinical Aromatherapist with us as well and it isn't long until exam time so she is studying hard!

Karen Sherwood is also an IFPA tutor and she teaches our Advanced Aromatherapy, Essential Oil Chemistry, Specialised Aromatherapy including baby A&P. She has an incredible aptitude to bring subject to life whose titles may seem a little dull or frightening! Some people reel at the thought of Essential Oil Chemistry but fear not, Karen's enthusiasm and passion for this subject is intoxifying!

Sharon Bates runs The Aromatherapy Company Spain from her lovely home is Sella so for anyone who enjoys studying in the Mediterranean climate then look no further! Sharon is an IFPA tutor as well and she enjoys the practical and holistic sides of Aromatherapy and Holistic therapies. She has that something special and gentle about her manner and is always smiling and encouraging. Lavender Wang hosts training for us as a satellite school in Beijing at her wonderful salon in the heart of the city. Lavender is so passionate about Aromatherapy, Health and Well being. She is also a Pilates instructor. She is committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and giving effective treatments to heal and promote wellness of her clientele.

Caren Benstead has just come on board with us too to teach our Instructor Baby Massage course. She is an experienced therapists and delight to have around. So bubbly and vivacious, she will give you lots of confidence with her endless enthusiasm!

Now for China & Taiwan! The Aromatherapy Company China Team is made up of Emily Song, Phil Jia and Leo Meng. These amazing guys are currently translating all of our courses into Chinese and are about to launch our wonderful organic products to the Chinese market! (Check out our blog on our Organic Aromatherapy Ranges and Products). Emily is a little dynamo with boundless energy and very efficient in business. Her English is perfect and she really enjoys Aromatherapy. Phil is such a like able personality who is quietly spoken with excellent logistic skills, he is really enjoying learning more about Aromatherapy and offering treatments to clients. Leo also speaks excellent English and deals with export for us which is so helpful to us because as an English Aromatherapy Company we do not speak Chinese! Now that the summer holidays have passed, it may be a good time to think about what you would like to do. Sometimes the seasons help us to make changes and give ourselves goals to look forward to. If you are interested in Aromatherapy and Holistic therapies then we are sure we can help.

4th November - Aromatherapy for headaches and migraines with Karen Sherwood. This day is for qualified Aromatherapists who are looking to enhance their knowledge by looking at chemical components and blending synergies to treat the symptoms often associated with head pain. This course carries 6 CPD points and costs £100.

Saturday 12th November - Introduction to Essential Oil Chemistry. This day is ideal if you are studying aromatherapy now or need to refresh or revise your knowledge. This day will be fun even though it is about chemical components! We aim to bring this subject to life so that you feel confident about your mixing and blending. This course carries 6 CPD points and costs £100

14th- 18th November - Advanced Aromatherapy Diploma. This 5 day course will give you a deeper knowledge of essential oils from a chemical and holistic point of view. The course includes mixing and blending for pain management, respiratory conditions and intensive applications. Each day carries 6 CPD points. The cost of this course is £500.

22nd November - Instructor baby Massage Training Course. This course is for qualified massage therapists who would like to learn to teach baby massage. You will learn about basic A&P for baby, how to present yourself to you class, a baby massage routine and more. The cost of this course is £100.

14th January 2012 - Carrier Oils & Hydrolats. This course will give you a good introduction to the therapeutic benefits of carriers and hydrolats (hydrosols). Carrier oils have nutritional values and hydrolats are so gentle that they are suitable for use on the frail, babies and animals. The cost of this course is £100 and carries 6 CPD points. Ideal for those studying aromatherapy and Aromatherapists needing a bit of revision.

23rd-27th January 2012 - Introductory Level 1 Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma. This course will teach you about using essential oils in the home and includes a full body massage so that you can treat for friends and family. It is also the intro course for our Professional Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma course which takes you through to level 4. This course is for 5 days and costs £500.

The Aromatherapy Company Candles are first to get the certification from The Soil Association Organic!!!

We are so happy and very excited to be the first company to have our organic aromatherapy candles Soil Association Organic Certified. This means that we are officially the first to launch a certified organic candle from the Soil Association and we are extremely thankful to all of our team who put so much effort and love into this.

Well what can we tell you about our gorgeous candles?? Lets start with the ingredients...the base wax is totally organic and so are our carrier oils and essential oils so these candles are about as organic as we can get. We do need to continue to source an organic wick if there is anyone out there who can help us with this.

The candles come in recycled glass and contain 220g. They have a burn time of around 40/50 hours. They burn really cleanly as well....although we do include information on how to look after your candle to get the best from it. They also come in our beautiful black and cream boxes with our cream logo. These boxes are so beautiful you would never throw them away and they make excellent little storage containers!

The most important thing of course is the aroma....we have created some beautiful synergies to calm, uplift and balance the mind, body and spirit so whilst it is true that you want a candle that smells gorgeous, how incredible is it that we have designed ours to also help well being!

Pricing of organic is always going to be a bit of a stumbling block but as our candles are designed to help in certain ways, we think that the cost is an issue but what they do is more important.

Aromatherapy is natures way of providing us with essential oils from the earths botanical offerings for health and wellness....amazing!! Our choice for today is Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) to lift our hearts and minds.

We are delighted to welcome and introduce to you our new team who will take The Aromatherapy Company into China!! The team will launch our organic products in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. More importantly they we will be taking our UK based Clinical Aromatherapy diploma courses to China which will enable the Chinese and people of Taiwan to be able to train as Professional Clinical Aromatherapists. Professional Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma Training

We are an IFPA accredited training school committed to the very highest standard of education of Aromatherapy.

Our Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma has 4 levels and takes around 9 months to complete. We believe in teaching in a caring and relaxing environment and that learning is a continually developing process which enables us to explore and offer further advances training in specific areas such as Aromatherapy for Pain Management, Respiratory Conditions, Women and many more.

You can study with us in house here at Orange Blossom Barn which is a really lovely experience in itself. Our students are nurtured here to be the best they can possibly be. We recognise that it is difficult for some students to come here so we do offer distance learning courses for those of you who can't make it or live somewhere else in the world. Our courses come with a set of course notes, work book, practical DVD and products to be used during training. You can complete all 4 levels by distance learning and become an Associate member for up to two years with the IFPA. If you would like to become a full member then we can offer an in house upgrade with one of our IFPA tutors who will assess and prepare you for the examinations. The upgrade lasts around 4 to 5 days.

We can arrange local accommodation for you too and we provide a pick up and drop off service from Nuneaton train station, your hotel and The Aromatherapy Company.
